To all my dear clients,
I wish you a wonderful New Year with your beloved 4 legged friends.
A decision that I haven’t taken lightly and thought about for quite some time but I feel I need to do what’s right for me and my young family.
After 7 years I will be closing down Fun4Dogs for good, in March 2017. It’s been 7 years of joy and meeting the most wonderful people and their beautiful dogs.
It was always my goal to help as many dogs as possible, as I believe well behaved dogs have better lives. It was a pleasure to help you all learning new tricks and becoming your dog’s best friends.
Now I feel it is time for a change and I would love to focus more one my other work at schools and kindergarten, where I educate children with my two beautiful girls Kala and Pepper. The children learn how to be safe around dogs and how to become responsible pet owners. I would love to do this full time during the week now which leaves little family time.
Kala and Pepper are also therapy dogs and we work our magic with elderly people to give them some much needed love. We visit an aged care facility every week and it is just amazing to see the people’s faces when it is time for their dog therapy session.
As you can see the love of working with dogs is still in me but it is just changing direction a little bit. Dogs are my life and it will always be that way. We even get a new Border Collie puppy around April this year. I’m very excited to welcome the little fluff ball into our family.
Another reason behind my decision is quite simple, my family. I would like to spend more time with my kids on the weekends. As you all know Sunday is dog training and often I work on Saturdays as well. Liam is starting school this year, so very exciting times ahead of him. Our little boy Luke is not even 2 years old yet. My husband Oli travels a lot for work so we don’t see him during the week and that makes our weekends even more valuable.
I truly hope you can understand my decision. I will start dog training classes again after my holiday on Sunday the 15th of January and continue until Sunday the 5th of March, it will be my last class. This will give everyone enough time to finish off their 10-session passes. From now on it will only be pay-as-you-go.
I would love to see you all again in 2017 to say hello and goodbye. So don’t be shy and come along to one more Fun4Dogs class.
Lots of love
Janina with Kala & Pepper
